My Journey, My Passion
From Istanbul to Vancouver to Hawaii, and now to Texas — my life has been an exciting ride full of learning, moving, evolving, and helping others do the same. I was born and raised in Istanbul, and very early on I found my love for health, movement, and well-being. That led me into personal training, as well as massage therapy, herbal medicine, homeopathy, Pilates and yoga. I worked in Istanbul training celebrities, business leaders, even the mayor. At the same time I was a competitive runner.
In 2009 I made a big leap and moved to Vancouver, Canada. A new country, new language, but with the same desire I soaked in everything I could about fitness and nutrition. In 2013 I moved to the small Hawaiian island of Molokai, where I transitioned into a more holistic view of health. In 2024, I found my way to Boerne, Texas! Each move has brought growth, a fresh perspective and a deeper love for what I do.
How Competition Changed Me
I’ve always loved competition, but it wasn’t until I started prepping for my first fitness show in 2011 that I realized that the real magic happens when you compete with yourself. I was working at Steve Nash Fitness Club in Vancouver, and a colleague asked why I wasn't competing in fitness competitions? That sparked something inside me. My first WBFF show in May 2011 was just the beginning. Each competition taught me something — sometimes I won, sometimes I didn’t, but I always came out stronger and more tuned into my body and mind. The prep, the discipline and the mindset work all made me a better coach and athlete.
I also saw how much misinformation there is out there. People doing the wrong workouts, following crash diets, and burning themselves out. That’s why I created the Health Angel Programs — to give people the right tools to succeed, not by working harder but by working smarter.
Why I Coach
There’s nothing I love more than helping people move, eat, and train better. So often I see someone putting in the effort but not seeing results because of bad form or poor nutrition. That’s where I want to help. Coaching isn’t just about sets and reps. It’s about education, mindset, structure, and giving the tools you need to feel strong and confident for life.
Why HYROX
Sports have always been a big part of my life. From pro volleyball to swimming, running, bodybuilding, CrossFit…. I’ve collected certifications in tactical fitness, steel mace, kettlebells, Onnit Academy, and clubbell training. All of it gave me depth as a coach. But after years of competing in fitness competitions I realized that it no longer aligned with how I wanted to train or live. That’s when I discovered HYROX — and everything clicked! It’s running, strength, intensity, and community, all in one sport. And best of all? It’s for everyone. Whether you're a total beginner or an elite athlete, HYROX welcomes you.
I became a HYROX Performance Coach because I believe in this sport. It’s simple, challenging, and incredibly empowering. The races are fun, the people are supportive, and the training style fits real life.
I’m beyond grateful to have found HYROX and proud to be part of this incredible journey — as an athlete, and as a coach who’s dedicated to inspiring others to rise to their own challenges.
